Ride Engineering - CRF450 Pull Rods (Honda)
Make your new Honda more balanced with the Ride Engineering Pull Rods for the 2017-2019 CRF 450R and RX models. This upgrade is the key ingredient to balance out the 2017-2019 suspension, increasing traction and improve the handling of the motorcycle. Designed and tested by the Ride Engineering test riders on the track, the Pull Rods come anodized in red to match the clean Honda look.
Improvements are noticeable with stock valving or re-valved suspension and not just on the motocross version (R model). The RX became much more rider friendly particularly when changing direction on the heavier off-road machine. Recommended sag is 102-104mm since the rear sits 5mm lower with the Ride Eng. pull rods installed.
Gain the upper hand on your competition with the Ride Engineering Pull Rods for your 2017-2019 CRF450R/RX off road motorcycle.
For 2019 450R/RX Models:
Ride Eng. has revised their pull rod spec to match the changes Honda made to the 2019 suspension. The new link will help traction on acceleration, allow the rear to stay more planted on corner entry and it will improve handling as the forks can be lowered to balance the chassis. There is added confidence to ride aggressively. Recommended sag with the Rideng Pull Rods is 103-105mm.
- They balance out the bike and make it easier to find a neutral position
- Handling is improved even with the forks set at a more slack position (2mm up) in the triple clamps.
- The Ride pull rods allow the rear to squat and hook up better under acceleration over rough slippery terrain.
- Recommended Sag with pull rods: 102-104mm (17-18 Models) ; 103-105mm (2019 Models)
